2nd day of school -YEAH!!!!!!!

OK~ Every parent around the world must say, "YES" once that first day of school arrives! I've said it before. How about a national holiday to celebrate the 1st day of school? Hey, in today's world, this could be a stimulus deal! Cakes, balloons, and celebrations could take place to honor this special day...................The quietness of the house is a little different at first, but, as most Moms know, it does NOT take long to adjust! Not sure what clock our school district runs on- BUT- scheduled pick up time of 7:12 a.m.- Bus showed up at 7:00 a.m. today! Garrett made it out the door, but I'm not likin' that schedule at all! I was so excited to see a little later pick-up time than what the past three years have been. Wishful thinking, I guess.................After all, it's all in a Mom's Day, right?

  1. Wowie your babies have to be out the door early! I'm already nervous we won't be ready for a 9am start. Do love that idea of a national holiday to celebrate the beginning of school. I think it should include peidcures!

  2. Wow, that is early--we carpool as there is not a bus to the charter school. School doesn;t start till 9 so that is nice. The hard part? The kisd we "pool" with are sibs.
    "Shut up Dryskoll!"
    "Don't breathe on me Fiona!"
    "Quit inerttupting Deyvon!"
My son was like, "What's up with this mom?"
I explained that is how siblings act.
"No more kind then." was all he said.
Anyway, thought I'd drop by and visit. Love the blog.

I always love feedback on my blog!
