A Disney Vacation!

OK~ Our family is a family of Disney fanatics! We love venturing to Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Animal Kingdom is a park that I enjoy, but in all honesty, a day there is about it for me! Now, when we returned this past March, I began to ponder the following thought. We have tons and tons of pics of the Safari ride at Animal Kingdom. Now, I am wondering? Is this the same giraffe that we photographed in 2007, 2005, and 2003- How would I know? The kids seem to like to run the camera while cruising through the African plains. Maybe someday when I'm bored, I will try and match up these numerous photos that I have! After all, it's all in a Mom's day, right?

  1. I hated the Animal Kingdom. It was hot, humid and boring. Even Fast Pass was 3 hours for the Himalayan ride, which is all I was interested in. The rest of the parks were very, very cool. We were there 5 days and we figured out we could have been there for 25 days and not have seen everything there was to see.

  2. Hahaha! These things make us wonder.. Most likely its the same giraffe...

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I love Disneyworld and Disneyland! I and am trying to persuade my husband to take the kids and I to Disneyland in the fall. That is too funny about the animal kingdom. I think you are right.

Keep up the great blogging. I will stop by again!

  4. If you go to Disneyland you should take the time to go to Knott's berry farm I think I might have liked it a little better but it is a one day only thing two days it would get boring. I've never been to Disney World ..someday

  5. We're headed to Disney World in Oct. it will be our first time there as a family.

I have Animal Kingdom planned as a day should I change that? My kids are 5 & 7 and we too are looking forward to the safari.

  6. Jen~ For a first time visitor with a 5 & 7 year old, I would plan on heading there in the morning. Head to the Safari, as the wait times can be very long. If you think your family will really, really love this ride, grab a fast pass on your way into the line. Keep in mind there are not many "rides" like Magic Kingdom at Animal Kingdom. The park is LARGE, but spread out with more of a "Kingdom" theme. Your girls will love the Tree of Life- you have probably read some kids do get scared, and that is true. It is a cute show! With the ages of your kids, I would look at the show times to plan your day and stay around for the parade. This park is not as "kid" oriented as Magic Kingdom, just my opinion. It's a nice park, and we always go for part of a day. But, keep in mind, we are Disney Junkies and know what we want to see and how to get from Point A to Point B. Dinosaur is a fun ride, but again, it can be scary for some kids. Hope this helps! Any other questions, shoot them out here? I'll be glad to help. Where are you staying?

I always love feedback on my blog!
