The Whys of Life!

  • Why do young people get cancer? 43 seems way tooooo young!
  • Why is it that people get so impatient when someone is driving the speed limit?
  • Why is life so complicated for our teens today?
  • Why does a child live in poverty?
  • Why do babies died of SIDS?
  • Why do people in our society seem to have so much hatred towards others?
  • Why can't people accept the word NO?
  • Why is it that so many people in our world do not have one meal a day?
  • Why do people abandon their pets?
  • Why can't people talk with civility towards each other?
  • Why did we wear sweatshirts/jeans in July & August, shorts in September & winter coats the first week of October in Iowa?
Just this past week, a fellow 1985 MCHS graduate, was diagnosed with cancer. It made me realize how thankful I should be for what I do have. And I began to ponder about some of the things I see around me each day. And you know what? In the grand scheme of things, there are so many "things" that so many people get so irate about, for what reason? Life is too short- and I am thankful for what I do have! If each of us took the time to help another person each day; can you imagine what our world might be like? After all, it's all in a Mom's Day, Right?

  1. I'm finding that the older I get the more I am reminded of all that I have to be thankful for. And yes, life is too, too short. Enjoy it all today...

Thanks for following, I'm doing the same!

  2. Then our world would be a better place! some how along the way compassion was lost by many. And the attitude of helping those in need.Good to know there is someone else out there that thinks like me:)ps we lived in sioux city for awhile!!

I always love feedback on my blog!
