OK~ This Mom is ecstatic! The tree arose out of storage from the basement and is now up. Unfortunately, the lights do not work, as I need to purchase a new power strip. I was informed that the seasonal, green power strip made it out to the shop sometime last Summer. So, a trip to a store is in the cards today.

Happy to see my mish mash of ornaments. I do not know how I could ever decorate with a theme. I have so many awesome ornaments, that I could never part with, that my kids have made through the years. My Grandma Lillian also made several which hang on our tree. I never realized at the time how much I would cherish those. The very first ornament that I put on the tree, was the ornament that holds a picture of my nephew, Justin. He left us at the young age of 17 and has a great spot on our tree. I am so pleased that we will not be a house without a Christmas tree! Do you decorate with a theme? If so, how do you do it?
After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

  1. Looks great! No theme in our house either, we have sentimental ornaments that date back to our childhood (30+ years ago) and they are always front and center!

We are STILL a house without a Christmas tree. My toddler is almost 20 months old and I am terrified of the destruction he's going to do to it. I think I have almost convinced myself to just get a table top tree this year and save the headaches.

  2. Yay, the tree is up! Yes all in a mom's day!!! And thanks so much for reading/commenting on my interview. ;)

  3. Your tree is beautiful! I think ornaments with sentimental value or much more beautiful than those that have a theme!

Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on Theta Mom's interview!

I always love feedback on my blog!
