Three reasons it is time for school to start

OK~ Here's WHY it is time for school to start.  A 10th Grader and that is it at this house.  Where did all of those years go?  Time really does fly by quickly....when you are having fun, right?  Here's WHY school needs to start~


  1. Garrett says, "I'm tired of video games.  I'm ready for school to start!"  Woah, take me back on that one................This statement truly stunned this Mom, coming from a 15 year old that claims to "hate" school!
  2. The lights really need to be out by 10:00 p.m.- not 2:00 a.m.~ Anybody know if that helps reduce the power bill?
  3. I am ready to have my kitchen back.......Too many "things" drug out of the cupboards....A 15 year old boy EATS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!

School will be here before I know it~August 18th, as a matter of fact.......This Mom is ready for her old routine, although some of the crazy things Garrett & the dogs do ~ do make me smile!  It's always interesting to find what they have caught in the raccoon trap that sits in the sweet corn patch~ our farm cats, to stray cats, but no raccoons yet!  After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

  1. I wish my kids were begging for school to start. Even though they are young, the older one didn't have a great second grade year, and now it's all about hating school. Sigh. Hope to turn that around this year!
