Workplace Etiquette

OK~ As a Mom to teens, I'm always hoping that adults and responsible citizens will set an example.  We all know that our own kids think we are crazy when we tell them they should not text while driving, eat too much pizza, talk on their cell phones while at a check-out in a store~ So, what's a Mom to do when she and her 15 year old son are sitting in the local Iowa Driver's License office and an employee is checking her smart phone???????  I know my 15 year old is watching this..........Isn't there a line that is crossed in ANY work place?  I was totally in dismay as I watched~ My 15 year old will be looking  for a part time job in the near future and he will probably think it's acceptable to break out the cell phone at any given time during the work day~ HELLLOOOOOO??????  Am I missing something here????  After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

  1. That's a "what not to do" moment. He sees how it is annoying to him and to you, and that it's unprofessional. : ) Sometimes those examples just come right at us and we don't even have to ask for them.

I always love feedback on my blog!
