My "3" Thoughts on Why I Exercise

OK~ If you are like me it takes motivation to get to the gym and work out.  For me, my motivation is pretty simple.  Avoid surgery...that's all I need to hear.  So, off to the gym I go- 5-6 days a week.  Today was just not one of those pretty days!  You know~ this cool, Iowa weather really chills me~ So, here was my motivation to get out the door to the YMCA.


  • Keep that body limber (Yep, there is hope for this 40 something body!)
  • It's good to get out of the house on a dreary, cloudy, cold day!
  • Gives me time to talk with my hubby (Even though he is the passenger in the car and rides with his ear phones in- I usually find myself talking to myself)!
Well, how do your three reasons for exercising compare?  I think I'll keep venturing to the YMCA.....It's good for my mind, body and soul!  After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?
