OK~What would you do~If your E-mail messages just vanished into thin air? I'm not sure how I would react. It's interesting how we, as a society, have became so dependent on our computers being there for us 24/7. I know, I would miss mine! I'm thinking of all of those "jokes" that Sally has sent me- and those bills. Do you think I would really miss them?
Life did seem a little simpler before E-mail, but was it really? Back in those days we actually walked beans here in Iowa! AND, we actually wrote letters, in cursive, mind you! The really cool thing before E-mail, 9 times out of 10, when you made a call to someone in America.....you could understand the person on the other end of the phone. My, how times have changed!
Just recently, I had to make a call to a company to re-set one of my electronic devices. It was 9:00 a.m. and the person says to me, "Good Evening!" And then when I really, really worked hard to understand the person I knew that I had called some other country, or so it seemed! A few minutes later, 20 or so, my electronic device was up and working! E-mail is a wonderful tool...although I'm not so sure that employees with the USPS would agree with me! Just some babbling for the day.........After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?
