Flossing in Public

OK~ This Mom just doesn't seem to get the "flossing" teeth in public thing. While sitting in a restaurant, I observed a Mom passing dental floss to her daughter. AND then the daughter proceeded to floss her teeth while sitting at the table. I'm wondering....Do you think it is OK to floss your teeth while sitting at the table in a restaurant? I found it to be offensive, as I was trying to eat my lunch. Why would the Mom not send the daughter to the restroom to do this? I guess since I don't work at a dental office, I probably don't understand this concept! After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

  1. Not sure what to think of that, was the child 10, 16, 20? What is the alternative? Seeing a huge piece of food between her teeth if you talk to her?
Yeah maybe going to the restroom would of been best.

What if it was a mother breast feeding at the restaurants table? How would you feel then?

  2. This was not done discreetly at all. I have no problem with a Mom breastfeeding in a restaurant....As most do it discreetly and respect those around them. This was just out there! Each to their own....
