OK~ Having spent lots of time together as a family the past week or so....the discussion turned to, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" With a 20 year old son and almost 16 year old~this was a common conversation amongst us. So, what determines what you want to be? It's not about what you want to be; but about how you want to become that person! Face it...life is full of challenges and often seems unfair. In this Mom's eyes........all I ask is that my boys be the best that they can be. Money is not everything~ but you know what? Doing something that one loves to do is worth so much more than all the money in the world! It's important to be able to support oneself, but it is also important to be happy and enjoy life.
Focus on the things that make you happy~ Focus on your family and your Faith~Good things will come! The two things that are always constant in the lives of my boys~ This Mom loves them NO MATTER WHAT (I may not always appreciate what they do, but I always love them) and God is always there~ NO MATTER WHAT!
It takes lots of occupations to make our world go round and there is something for everyone~ We saw many of them this past week. From construction workers, to amusement park ticket sellers, to waiters/waitresses; it takes a variety of people to make our daily lives happen! So, What do you want to be when you grow up? Food for thought ~ After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?
