OK~ So I'm sitting at a table, laptop in tow...I place my elbow on the table- yep, Mama always said to keep those elbows off of the table! Much to my surprise, my elbow stuck to the table. At that point I touched my chin! I then realized that I needed to find a hot shower to get this sticky pine mess off of me.
I head to the shower....Well, I was focused on switching up the shower doors so they were usable and in the meantime, I got beat up by a white shower pole. I am told that this white pole was hanging across the shower, but I failed to see it. In the midst of this confusion, I found my chin stuck to my chest! I kid you not, this pine sap was awful! Now that I have replayed the scenario several times in my head, I get why the white shower pole is in the shower- it makes a great place to dry a towel or two!
Shower door was now working and for the life of me, I could not get any hot water. For the record: Pine sap is extremely difficult to remove with cold water! After a few minutes, I finally asked for a demonstration on how to find the hot water. Well, had I known that the hot water is in the opposite direction of the red color on the knob, I might have had hot water.
Once the hot water was rolling, and the pine sap was no longer keeping my head in an interesting position~ life is good! I have found a new blogging spot...On the deck, overlooking the lake (around the corner from the shady tables with the sticky pine trees) with several Minnesota loons passing by. I am surrounded by lots and lots of tall Minnesota Northern Pine trees~ BUT this Mom now knows how to correct the situation! .Life is Good........After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?
