Country Heritage Bed & Breakfast~ Hampton, Iowa

OK~ As part of the Bloggers Harvest Tour in Franklin, County; The Country Heritage Bed & Breakfast was a place of lodging for several attendees. I did not spend the night at this quaint Bed & Breakfast, but I sure did get to enjoy a delicious brunch~ Check this out!

A plate of delicious food~Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Little Smokies, Home-Made Cinnamon Rolls, Sausage & Biscuits, Potatoes, and Chicken & Rice. The food was delicious, but I must say that when a group of people gather around a table that is so set with the time....

The conversation is amazing! We had these quaint glasses filled with orange juice, which of course had colored ice! And I must say the kids loved the fun shapes and colors that filled their water and juice glasses. And the adults.....We all took a walk back through our childhood years. Being in the country, we talked about our years growing up. Some of us had grown up on a farm, others had grown up in the city, and some had grown up in small towns. But, the one thing we all had in common~ We all had experienced childhood in much the same way. We all recalled being able to go outside and play for hours on end. There were no cell phones back then, so when suppertime rolled around, the supper call was fairly simple. Our Mothers would yell that it was time for us to come in!  Now, fast forward to the year 2011, in most neighborhoods today, when a Mother is yelling; we all assume that something is wrong and question if 911 should be called. I was also pleased to know that I was not the only one that enjoyed dissecting insects when I was younger! Now, I am not a fan of bugs...but those lightning bugs were a lot of fun in my childhood years!

These two women prepared our meal from start to finish! The food was delicious and the service was absolutely amazing. You can tell that these two love their job. If you are looking for a unique, fun, yet affordable place to stay while visiting Franklin, County, Iowa....You must check out the Country Heritage Bed & Breakfast~ A cozy, inviting stay awaits you! Families of all shapes and sizes are welcome! Bring your immediate family, or extended family....There is a room for you!
