Gulf View Waterfront Resort: A Family Destination In The Florida Keys

OK~ The Iowa to Florida roadtrip continues with a stay at the Gulfview Waterfront Resort located in Marathon, Florida. Happy greeted us, along with Opie and Lola the Cockatiels. This is not a common sight in Iowa, so we were intrigued.

The resort is very welcoming and the owners were extremely accommodating. There is free wi-fi throughout the property, as well as complimentary coffee and tea each morning. There are also complimentary kayaks, canoes and paddle boats available for your use. So, if paddling on the Gulf of Mexico is something on your bucket list, here ya go! A boat ramp is also located here with dockage available. Book your stay at the Gulf View Waterfront Resort and cross it off your list.

Paddle Boats Available For Resort Guests

Kids can play on the beach while Mom and Dad lounge in a hammock nearby. This resort also offers a nice variety of beach toys for your kiddos. Sand buckets, shovels and the like were located near the beach for your use.

There are One Bedroom Apartments, Guest Rooms, Efficiencies and Two Bedroom Apartments available for you. Should you want to cook your own meals, this resort provides all the tools you will need to cook up a storm. Several units offer a great view of the Gulf of Mexico and have their own table with an umbrella accompanied by a grill.

The Gulf View Waterfront Resort is also a nice facililty for a larger family gathering. If you and your family would like to meet here for a reunion, the owners will accommodate you. The view here is stunning, the amenities are abundant, and the location is awesome. Hey, it is the Floriday Keys, what more can I say?

Gulf View Waterfront Resort: Clean and Welcoming
The location here is great. The Dolphin Research Center, The Turtle Hospital, and several beaches and parks are nearby. And of course, Key West is just a few miles down the road.

We enjoyed our stay at The Gulf View Waterfront Resort. The resort was clean, eco-friendly and a great stopping place mid-point in the Florida Keys. I know that I enjoyed the sound of basically nothing, as well as the gorgeous views located on this property. A special thank you to the Gulf View Waterfront Resort for helping bring the Iowa to Florida road trip to life!

Go ahead, plan that vacation to the Florida Keys and reserve your room today at the Gulf View Waterfront Resort. Your family will say, "Thank You!" After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

*My family and I were guests on this property for one night in March of 2012. I did not receive any monetary compensation for this post. The opinions expressed here are mine and nobody else's.
