King's Pointe Waterpark Resort: Lakeside, Fun, Family Entertainment In Iowa

Welcome to King's Pointe

OK~ King's Pointe located in Storm Lake, Iowa is was one of Iowa's best kept secrets until now. The word is out, this waterpark resort simply rocks! Here is what my family and I experienced in our two nights and three days here.

An Out-Door Water Park With Twists and Turns

The waterpark was fun, exciting and clean. And the really cool thing is the fact that this amazing waterpark is located in Western Iowa. Strategically located a few hours from Sioux Falls, Des Moines, Omaha and all the areas in between. When you stay on the property, your water park entrance fees are included in your resort fees. You can also purchase a one day pass and/or season passes.

Beautiful Storm Lake

The view from our room was beautiful. I had to keep reminding myself that I really was in Iowa.

A Tasty Rib-Eye From The Regatta Grille

The Regatta Grille offers lake side dining. Our waitress was speedy and our food was just fabulous. Our plates were full and our meals were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend that you treat your family to a meal at the Regatta Grille at King's Pointe Resort. I would recommend reservations if you are dining after 7:00 p.m., as the wait time appeared to be quite long after the evening got rolling.

The In-Door Water Park Provided Twists And Turns For The Whole Family

And I cannot forget to share this with you. An indoor water park, as well as an outdoor water park are both on the property. How cool is that? The older I get the less I like the smell of an indoor water park area, as the chloroine smell is usually quite strong. I found the smell here to be somewhat strong, but not overwhelming. The little kids splashing around did not seem to mind at all. This resort will keep you and your family hopping!

The summer 2012 season is wrapping up at King's Pointe Resort. Now would be the perfect time to plan your visit for 2013. Stay tuned......this is only a glimpse into what King's Pointe Waterpark Resort has to offer. I do have much more to share! After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

My family and I were guests on the property in August of 2012. We did receive a $50 Credit Via a Gift Card for the Regatta Grille For Breakfast, Lunch and/or Dinner. We did also receive two nights lodging in a Family Queen Suite Room Which Features Two Queen Beds and a Queen Size Fold out Sofa. I did not receive any monetary compensation for this post. The opinions expressed here are mine and nobody else's.
