Wally Watching His Best Friend

OK~ Wally has watched Garrett leave for school each morning during the school year for the last nine years. I'm wondering how his morning routine will change once Garrett graduates, as he is a Senior this year. Garrett walks out another door in the house,Wally then heads over to this door so he can watch him leave and then about 15 minutes before Garrett comes home from school, he is right back here! Do your pets have any routines like this? After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

  1. I think that animals - especially dogs - do have an internal clock. They know when we're going to leave in the morning, and know when to expect us home. If we stay up later than usual at night, our dog will go to bed at his regular bedtime on his own. It's like, "Forget you, crazy humans, I'm going to bed." Dogs are so smart.

  2. What a sweet puppy!! Our cats could care less about when we come & go. I am sure Wally will find a new routine!

  3. Every morning I when I go to wake up my 14 yo son for school our little dachshund, Bandit, shadows me into his room. As I'm trying to wake the boy, Bandit, will start barking and circling until the boy wakes up and pets him.
