It Only Took 13 Years, But It Happened

OK~ Graduation time is getting closer. By the time June 1st rolls around, I will be able to say that I no longer have a child in a K-12 school. For the past 17 years, my life has happened around school activities. I'm thinking back to all of those classroom parties in the Elementary Days and how much the kids looked forward to those days. Those were busy days for many Moms. Moms were planning games, organizing treats and making sure the whole class new about the party. What a fun day this was in 2006!

Garrett and Mr. Walrod (Best Principal Ever)

Through the years I have found numerous "late" papers in his school bag, party invitations to parties that have already happened, and even rocks! Oh yeah, you gotta love rocks from the playground at school. Thankfully I never found worms in his school bag. My boys saved those for the bucket at home. Yep, I found worms a few days old in their bedroom at one time through the years. I should state that I did not find them, I smelled them!

It only took thirteen years for this to happen. You know how those school pictures come home mangled and tangled in the bottom of your child's backpack? Well, this arrived fully intact, no wrinkles and looking great!

Class Photos of K-8
Yep, this group of K-8 photos that the school office had on file was sent home with the Seniors in recent days. Can you believe it? There are seriously no wrinkles, folds, or anything like that. Amazing, isn't it?

Moving forward... I wonder what else will come home over the course of the next 30 days! After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?

I always love feedback on my blog!
