Paying It Forward In Your Community Makes A Difference

OK~ I am truly blessed, as over the course of the last week I have witnessed a couple great ways people are paying it forward. I am truly blessed to be part of the awesome staff of  World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. The auctioneers that attend auction school are truly some of the nicest, most genuine and caring people I have ever met.

The February 2015 graduates literally paid it forward this past week. One student in the June 2015 term received a $700 scholarship from the February 2015 graduates. This group of auctioneers also raised enough money to give two auctioneers a one year memberships to the NAA (National Auctioneers Association).

Now that my friends, is paying it forward. It's so fun to see a group of auctioneers believing in others, which could very well be their competition. When people work together magic happens. I continue to see this over and over again.

And then, at our North Iowa Social Media Breakfast Club in North Iowa, Pat Palmer- The Computer Guy paid it forward by giving away a $50 Gift Certificate to Butcher's Steakhouse in Mason City. Pat had been the recipient of rib-eye steaks that Laura of Life On Skyview had given away the month before.

There's a lot of truth to be said that when you surround yourself with people you want to be like, you become that person. I can only hope that I can continue to give to others, as so many folks here in North Iowa continue to bless me day in and day out.

North Iowa Social Media Breakfast Attendees recently participated in the Milk Mustache Challenge that the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank is holding in North Iowa through June 30, 2015.

Go ahead... Show your "stache" on social media and donate here! It's all for good fun and a simple way to pay it forward.

So....... what will you pay forward? I challenge you to make a difference and as Beth Ann Chiles of It's Just Life says, "Be The Ripple"! After All, It's All In a Mom's Day, Right?
